Kate Harbin Clammer
Kate is inspired by visionary founders who combine their passion for improving our lives and the world with business acumen.
She brings a deep finance background to Short List Capital. Her experience co-founding the private equity firm, Source Capital, with her brother Tom gives her a rich insight into the start-up experience, of building something from scratch and the need to wear many hats simultaneously. Source Capital is intensively involved in the operations of its portfolio companies, and Kate has extensive experience as an active Board Member and Board Chair.
During her time at Short List Capital, she has particularly enjoyed investing in digital fashion, clean beauty, mental health and technology companies that enable these shifts in consumer behavior. Kate loves being of service to founders, particularly around capital formation strategy.
Kate lives in San Francisco with her husband and three children. Outside of work, she finds being a mother, wife and friend her most rewarding roles. Kate is a passionate supporter of San Francisco and cherishes her non-profit work. She currently serves on the board of both Tipping Point Community and the de Young and Legion of Honor museums.
In her free time, she loves reading, hiking, skiing and travel.
